Max-Prop
When we hauled out to do the prop repitch the yard told us we had one hour and fifteen minutes to complete the job. We would have been done in less than an hour except the rigger was up the mast and the yard wouldn't put us back in the water with him working up there. Here is a picture of John with the newly repitched Max-Prop all ready for a coat of barnacle barrier. The repitch worked great and now the engine runs at just the right RPM.

Seattle Update
We're still in Ballard Mill Marina, undergoing final preparations for jumping off to Canada. We spent the day today adding wedges to the motor mounts to try to fix an alignment problem. It took much less work then I anticipated and, thanks to a friendly cabinet maker in Ballard, I was able to get a pair of nice white oak wedges very quickly. After installing them and realigning, the vibration was much less than it was before. Which is a big plus for all the motoring we'll be doing in Canada. Tomorrow we're doing a noon hang at a local yard so we can repitch the Max-Prop.
CYC Tiburon
Here we are at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon for the start of the Single Handed Transpac. We waved Phil off on his adventure and then continued our own by driving to Seattle. We made stops at Hat Creek (so Linda could see where I've been camping), Medford for the night, and Milwaukie, OR to visit my sister.

Final Preparations
Linda arrived last night and is having fun playing house in the
apartment. She's going to be running around this week getting
things ready for departure. I've got my office pretty much cleaned
out and am ready too. We just have to get our health insurance
straightened out.
